Account Specialist/Lead Generator
Mayer Networks Inc. (a B2B IT consulting firm) is looking for qualified and experienced account specialist/lead generator. Mayer Networks specializes in Cloud Computing Solutions, IT consulting and Computer Network Support for medium to large sized businesses, government agencies and non-profits. Ideal candidates should be eager to join a dynamic and rewarding environment with opportunities for growth.
The individual will be responsible for identifying and generating new business and potential target clients through outside sales activities such as prospecting, cold calling, scheduling meetings and relationship building to grow account base. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of Information Technology. There are no territory restrictions and new business development is the main focus.
Job Responsibilities:
- Generate leads and have initial meetings with prospective clients
- Work with CEO directly on prospective clients
- Forecast sales, develop “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness
- Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale
- Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails
- Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries
- Acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets
- Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
- Gathering market and customer information
- Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads
- Representing the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
- Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
- Gaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements
- Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of telecommunication or technology sales experience
- Knowledge or experience with Managed Service Providers cloud services in the areas of Infrastructure, Desktop, VDI and Disaster Recovery
- Place outbound calls to solicit and cloud service sales, pursuing both warm and cold accounts
- Build a client base of qualified leads. Maintain minimum performance standards and increase pipeline for new revenue

- The skills to work both independently and as part of a team
Overall, your position is to get our foot in the door. Once you have secured a meeting, the sales engineer will assist the potential client. We are seeking those gifted individuals who can get past the gatekeeper.
Mayer Networks offers a commission based compensation package along with an hourly or hourly wage based on experience. 99% paid health insurance after 90 days, company car, cell phone allowance and computer/laptop will be provided. This is a great opportunity to not only earn money, but because of our monthly reoccurring revenue streams, the ability to earn monthly income after the sale is completed.
NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR
Under the supervision of the CEO, Director of Network Operations, and senior technical staff, a Network Administrator at Mayer Networks is responsible for network planning, deployment, administration, and operational activities such as security auditing, monitoring, and remediation. Our ideal Network Administrator candidate can, with little supervision, perform complex professional and technical duties related to the installation and maintenance of client networks and communications hardware and software including, but not limited to: servers, routers, switches, firewalls, LAN/WAN equipment, phone systems, in addition to a working knowledge of server infrastructure and desktop support.
Required Knowledge/Skills:
Working knowledge of the various Cisco and SonicWall switches and firewall platforms and ability to setup, configure, and troubleshoot issues on said platform including: firewall rules, NAT/PAT, security services issues, log/reporting configuration and analysis, and a working understanding of the OS.
Extensive knowledge of L2 and L3 switching infrastructure with preference towards multiple platforms: Cisco, Dell, HP, etc.
Basic understanding of server infrastructure including Active Directory and Group Policy
Superb troubleshooting abilities with the ability to troubleshoot issues from simple desktop support problems to advanced networking troubles
Customer communication skills and friendly personality (this is a client facing position) is a must.
Ability to work in our Carbondale office and manage time efficiently working client issues and deploying onsite when necessary to resolve customer issues. Occasional after hours work will be required.

Required Knowledge/Skills:
Working knowledge of the various Windows Server operating systems and ability to setup, configure, and troubleshoot issues on said platform including: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File Sharing, Remote Desktop, Hyper-V and Virtualization. Microsoft Clustering is a plus.

- Expert troubleshooting skills
- In-depth knowledge of Windows Server 2012 through 2019
- Knowledge of simple networking is a plus

- Answer phones and create service ticket requests
- Schedule other technicians for appointments
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
- Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
- Setting up accounts for new users
- Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
- Answering incoming calls from clients and vendors
- Entering in support tickets and monitoring support queues
