Mayer Networks Inc. (a B2B IT consulting firm) is looking for qualified and experienced account specialist/lead generator. Mayer Networks specializes in Cloud Computing Solutions, IT consulting and Computer Network Support for medium to large sized businesses, government agencies and non-profits. The individual will be responsible for identifying and generating new business and potential target clients through outside sales activities such as prospecting, cold calling, scheduling meetings and relationship building to grow account base. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of Information Technology. There are no territory restrictions and new business development is the main focus.
- Generate leads and have initial meetings with prospective clients
- Work with CEO directly on prospective clients
- Forecast sales, develop “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness
- Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale
- Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails
- Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries
- Acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets
- Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
- Gathering market and customer information
- Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads
- Representing the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
- Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
- Gaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements
- Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations
- Minimum 3 years of telecommunication or technology sales experience
- Knowledge or experience with Managed Service Providers cloud services in the areas of Infrastructure, Desktop, VDI and Disaster Recovery
- Place outbound calls to solicit and cloud service sales, pursuing both warm and cold accounts
- Build a client base of qualified leads. Maintain minimum performance standards and increase pipeline for new revenue

Mayer Networks offers a commission based compensation package along with an hourly or hourly wage based on experience. 99% paid health insurance after 90 days, company car, cell phone allowance and computer/laptop will be provided.
